Independent Colombian swing-band Monsieur Periné performed at the SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas, as part of their first tour outside of their home country. The seven-person band also recently performed in Miami and New York City to promote their first soon to be released album. After five years of perfecting their hybrid sound that mixes gypsy-jazz, vintage European swing music, and Latin rhythms, the Colombian nationals were finally ready to showcase their music to an international audience.
