NEW YORK, June 29, 2012 — This is the first in a series of exclusive video interviews with veteran journalist Dan Rather, former anchor of CBS Evening News, who visited Asia Society Studios in New York City in late June. Rather, 80, currently hosts the investigative news magazine Dan Rather Reports, which airs on AXS TV.

Heir transplant: Michael Wolff delves into James Murdoch's defection from News International

Keith consults Michael Wolff, columnist for the Guardian and author of "The Man Who Owns the News: Inside the Secret World of Rupert Murdoch," to discuss news that James Murdoch is stepping down as executive chairman of News International in Britain. Although James Murdoch has declared that he will move to the United States. while retaining the title of deputy COO of News Corporation, Wolff characterizes that ploy as a "fig leaf," saying, "He has in practice departed this company."
