Much to the relief of football fans everywhere, pro-quarterback and two-time MVP Eli Manning isn't looking to become the next starting pitcher for the New York Mets!
Nevertheless, Manning threw out the first pitch, alongside 14-month-old daughter Ava, at Citi Field on Sunday, June 17th, as part of a Father's Day celebration sponsored by Pampers. Manning swears that he has no plans to switch careers, but he is looking to become this year's Most Valuable Dad!

Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants: Romo, Manning battle for playoff spot
The New York Giants face the Dallas Cowboys at the Meadowlands on Sunday for the NFC East title and the opportunity to get their butts kicked in the playoffs by the Green Bay Packers or New Orleans Saints. Both the Cowboys and the Giants are 8-7, which means that the 2011 NFC East champion will have less than 10 wins for the first time since division play started in the NFL. The game pits Cowboys Tony Romo against Giants quarterback Eli Manning. Both QBs have piled up impressive stats over their careers, but Romo has a history of losing big games, while Manning was MVP of Super Bowl Super Bowl XLII when the New York Giants beat the previously undefeated New England Patriots in one of the biggest upsets of football history.
Who will win? Next Media Animation's football analysts predict the 'Boys will lose. The Cowboys always seem to find a way to lose when it counts, and Romo is battling an injury.

Super Bowl 2012: Manning clutch as Giants beats Patriots 21-17
Eli Manning led the New York Giants to a 4th quarter come-from-behind victory over Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI, the second time the Giants have upset the Patriots in the Super Bowl in four years.
In a rematch of 2008's Super Bowl XLII, Giants coach Tom Coughlin beat his friend and former colleague, Patriots coach Bill Belichick.
Giants quarterback Eli Manning was named MVP of Super Bowl 46, as he was for Super Bowl 42.
Patriots quarterback Tom Brady staked New England to a 10-9 lead at the end of the first half with Super Bowl record-breaking 96-yard touchdown drive. Brady broke Joe Montana's Super Bowl record for consecutive completions and Kurt Warner's record for career Super Bowl passing yards.
But once again Manning was clutch in the fourth quarter. With 3:46 left in the game, the Giants started at their own 12. Manning hit Mario Manningham on a key 38-yard pass and followed that with two more completions to set up Ahmad Bradshaw's game-winning touchdown run.

Eli Manning or Tom Brady, which Super Bowl QB is more elite?
When Tom Brady's New England Patriots face Eli Manning's New York Giants in Super Bowl XLVI, more will be decided than just which team is the best in the NFL. The game should also show who is the true elite quarterback.
The controversy began last summer when Eli, answering a question posed by ESPN New York Radio host Michael Kay about his place among the league's QBs, said he was in the same class as Brady. He took heat for the comment, considering he finished the 2010 season with a league-high 25 interceptions. But now Eli is making his critics eat their words, having led his injury-plagued 2011 Giants team from the brink of elimination to Super Bowl 46. He has thrown 15 fourth-quarter touchdowns — an NFL record — and knocked off defending champions the Green Bay Packers and the menacing San Francisco 49ers on his way to face the Pats in the big game for the second time in four years.
While impressive, Manning still has a ways to go before he catches up with his New England counterpart. With three championships and countless records broken, including most regular season touchdowns and most pass completions in a Super Bowl, Brady is an undisputed future Hall of Famer. Many see him as the prototypical big game quarterback who, alongside coach Bill Belichik, has established one of the greatest dynasties in football. His charm and charisma off the field have landed him lucrative endorsement deals, as well as the hearts of Bridget Moynahan and Gisele Bundchen.
So who is the NFL's most elite quarterback? Some say he's not even playing on Sunday.
