CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley - US ship rescues Iranians, again
The U.S. Coast Guard pulled six Iranians from a cargo ship that was taking on water in the Persian Gulf and were later picked up by Iran's coast guard. Scott Pelley reports this comes only a week after the U.S. NAVY rescued another Iranian vessel from pirates.

US Navy Rescues Iranian Boat From Pirates
Days after Iranian leaders warned the U.S. to keeps aircraft carriers out of the Persian Gulf, a U.S. Navy ship that had just finished operations in the Gulf rescued an Iranian fishing boat that had been commandeered by suspected Somali pirates. (Jan. 6)
