Gingrich is citing a strong desire for economic growth, plus irritation at the "establishment", particularly the media, as the reason for his victory.
As the battle moves to Florida, Gingrich will be looking to consolidate his win to prove he is a candidate who can beat President Obama, but Florida is not South Carolina.
Mitt Romney has maintained his lead in Florida polls but that may change after South Carolina, what he does have is the cash and the strong campaign team that Gingrich lacks.
