Protests outside Russian TV channel spur dozens of arrests
http://www.euronews.com/ Dozens of protesters have been detained in Moscow after a rally in front of the headquarters of Russia's largest TV network's.
A documentary for the channel NTV accused Russia's opposition of paying people to take part in street rallies following parliament elections in December.
More than a thousand people gathered to denounce the documentary.
Among those arrested was opposition leader Sergei Udaltsov.

Analyst: Outside Troops Won't Intervene in Syria
A Middle East expert at UC Berkeley says he sees no chance of outside military intervention in Syria, despite President Assad's bloody crackdown on the opposition. Monday, the US closed its embassy in Damascus, aiming to isolate the regime. (Feb. 6)
