(NCSO Bust Cavallo) One man is wanted by the Nye County Sheriff Department who they say is the main suspect in connection to two homes used to grow and sell Marijuana.

(Cocaine Bust reader no photo) It's being called the biggest cocaine bust in Nevada's history. Nevada Highway Patrol and Las Vegas Metro Police confiscated 452 pounds of cocaine during a traffic stop this morning near Jean, Nevada. The cocaine is estimated to have a street value of $16.4 million dollars. Police say they stopped a truck driver, in a cab only with no trailer, who was traveling northbound on I-15 about 12:30 a.m. this morning. Police say the cocaine was hidden in 10 bags in the sleeper section of the cab. Police made the stop when they noticed the driver Gaston Danjou was driving erratically. A search was conducted by Metro and NHP officers after Danjou gave them conflicting stories. Danjou had come from the Central Valley California area. His destination is
unknown at this time. He is facing charges of possession of cocaine, trafficking cocaine and transporting a controlled substance.

(Blagg Road) Commissioner Butch Borasky gives us an update on the Blagg Road closure and the lawsuit set to be filed by Nye County, against the soil compaction contractor, Spirit Construction Underground. Nye County is claiming that the Las Vegas Company is responsible for the collapse of the brand new roadway and Utility Inc's sewage pump stations. The road, pump stations and sewage lines were constructed, last year, for the Correction Corporations of America Detention Center.
(God's Glory Clothing) A ribbon cutting at the Pahrump Valley Chamber of Commerce this morning, welcomed a new business to town.

(Top Soil) His name is Tom, he's the owner Top Soil Incorporated on Bell Vista and has a very big heart. He is saddened and upset, about the loss of a tree that he has been caring for. The tree started on its own but since the beginning Tom has been watering it. it was almost 6 feet tall when it was mowed down by a county road cleaning vehicle yesterday. The County apologized to Tom about the tree. The location of the tree was on the road easement, regrettably.

(JJ Dinner) The Democrats Jefferson Jackson Dinner at Lakeside Casino Saturday night, was well attended. With their new board in place, the intend to become more active in our community.
