I'm Joslyn Davis for ClevverTV with coverage on last night's jaw-dropping shocker on "The Vampire Diaries." This season has really honed in on the original family and Klaus' on-going destruction of everyone and everything in his path. However, we definitely saw Stefan gain the upper hand when he successfully stole the coffins holding the entire original family. After some back and forth in the last few episodes though, we Klaus managed to get all but one of the coffins back in his possession. Of course the last coffin was the most important, as it held what everyone believed to be the only thing or person able to kill Klaus. In a HUGE, and we mean huge twist, Stefan and Damon, along with the assistance of Elijah, undaggered the rest of the original family's siblings, leaving Klaus completely vulnerable. However, everyone, including all of the Klaus' siblings, was in complete shock when someone else joined them -- oh yeah, it's their mom -- you know the mom that Klaus actually killed centuries earlier??? OF course we thought she'd be back for revenge, but when she got close to her son and forced him to look her in the eye; she said she was back for forgiveness. Um, wow. She added she wanted her family to be together again, and this is where the episode closes out.

I don't know about you guys, but in my opinion, this twist is almost too good to be true. Will Klaus's mother really forgive him or is this some sort of secret plot AND moreover, will Klaus actually be able to exist in a family where he is not the leader? We're really looking forward to seeing this whole situation pan out in coming episodes -- apparently, the original family will be hosting some sort of ball in the next showing, so stay posted to ClevverTV on YOuTUbe for details on that as they emerge. I'm JOSlyn Davis in Hollywood, thanks for watching!
