There were incidents that Muslim workers have lost their job over prayer dispute or wearing headscarves. In 2010 an American pastor in Florida announced that he would burn copies of the Quran in the anniversary of 9/11. Polls among them a survey by Pew Research Center shows that 55 percent of Muslim Americans believe it is more difficult to be a Muslim in the United States since 9/11.
